The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism divided the Arab Republic of Egypt into tourist regions, the most important of which is the Gulf of Aqaba region, which has been identified in five sectors:
- Sharm El-Shaikh
- Wadi Keber
- Dahab
- Nuweiba
- Taba
The Sharm el-Sheikh sector represents one of the most important sectors because of the tourist attractions of nature, diving areas, nature reserves and others. Marsa El Dekheila area is considered one of the elements of excellence within the Sharm El Sheikh sector because it contains one of the most important diving areas on the Gulf of Aqaba.
El Montazah Center - Sharm El Sheikh Touristic
In September 90, the company contracted with the Ministry of Tourism and the General Authority for Tourism Development to buy a land area of 1400 acres in the city of Sharm el-Sheikh located in the area of Marsa Dekheila beach Ras Nasrani Gulf of world-renowned for the purpose of comprehensive tourism development of this area.
The length of the beach for this area is approximately 4500 m.It is located along the Sharm El Sheikh International Airport and is characterized by the following:
- The beach is mostly characterized by a good sandy nature.
- The site overlooks the scenic Strait and islands of Tiran.
- The unspoiled nature of land and sea.
- Mild climate most of the year.
- Direct proximity to Sharm El Sheikh International Airport.
- Diverse topographic formation between plains, plateaus and slopes.
- The site mediated the area’s landmarks of Dahab, Nuweiba and Taba nature reserves and the roads leading to them.

- Al-Diyar Company, which is implementing a tourist hotel project on an area of about 420 thousand square meters.
- Al Khalig Company: it is preparing the necessary consultancy studies for the establishment of an integrated hotel resort on an area of about 360 thousand square meters.
- Real estate developer: where the implementation of a hotel tourist project on an area of about 48 thousand square meters.
- Sun Beach: It is implementing a hotel tourism project on an area of about 40 thousand square meters

The company carries out the comprehensive tourism development of this center according to the modern planning and development standards which are as follows:
- Prepare all technical and environmental studies to identify the characteristics of the site.
- Prepare a comprehensive plan for the site and its stages and develop the plan according to the latest needs of the market as well as global events.
- Implementation of all elements of the scheme of tourist villages, hotels, tourist housing and services in cooperation with major companies in the field.
- Approval of the Tourism Development Authority for all stages of the general plan and its developments, as well as the Investment Authority as a regulatory body by the State.
- Management of the Center and maintenance of facilities and care of public landscapes in the Center as well as all elements of site coordination in the project.
Infrastructure works
The company has covered the land of the first phase of the tourist center with an area of about 1000 feddans with utilities networks of roads, sewage networks, nutrition, irrigation, electricity and telephones that serve all the limited development projects that are currently under operation. To introduce the infrastructure of the second phase of implementation for an area of about 400 acres at a cost of up to 480 million pounds.

Sewage treatment plant

As an integrated development company, El Montazah is committed to the implementation of the wastewater treatment plant instead of the existing one which entered the land of Sharm El Sheikh International Airport according to the Presidential Decree. .

The total design capacity of the treatment plant, according to the future development of the center, will reach 20,000 cubic meters per day.

The first phase of the civil works of the plant was implemented with a total capacity of 10 thousand cubic meters per day with the implementation of mechanical works for the capacity of 5 thousand cubic meters at a cost of 40 million pounds.
