Pilot Muhammad Manar, Minister of Civil Aviation, and Hisham Tawfiq, Minister of Public Business Sector, held a joint meeting to set the final lines for the establishment of a hotel-tourism project in the Ras Jamila area in the city of Sharm El Sheikh, in the presence of the boards of directors of Montazah Tourism and Investment and Imac Aqaba, and a number of leaders The two ministries.
The project will be built on two adjacent plots of land owned by Al-Montazah Tourism and Investment Company, to which EGOTH, one of the holding companies for tourism and hotels affiliated with the Ministry of Public Business Sector, and EMAC Aqaba, affiliated with the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and EMAC Aqaba, affiliated to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, contribute to the project, so that the project becomes one large entity in which it contributes. The two companies each have a stake in the land.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the necessary procedures to start setting up the project, the executive steps for the project, and the scheduled time programs for implementation, in addition to forming teams and committees to periodically follow up on what is being implemented on the ground.Pilot Mohamed Manar, Minister of Civil Aviation, praised in a statement today, Sunday, the fruitful cooperation and coordination between the two ministries in a number of joint files and projects, and expressed his desire to continue further cooperation to serve the Egyptian state He stressed that the political leadership is interested in such investment projects, and that the Ministry of Civil Aviation is working to overcome all challenges and obstacles for investors, and targets and encourages such projects that contribute to increasing the Egyptian national income, and that the ministry has an ambitious plan and huge projects to develop its resources during the coming period.
For his part, Hisham Tawfiq, Minister of Public Business Sector, said that the Ras Jamila project comes within the framework of integration between state institutions, and there are components and advantages in the investment zone.
He stressed the need to summon developers specialized in such major projects, as was the case in the tourism and hotel sector of the Ministry of Public Business Sector.
