opened its doors to receive visitors for the first time after a closure that lasted about 5 months due to the repercussions of the new Corona virus.
The management of the park company responsible for the parks imposed a package of precautionary measures for the visit, including thermal detection devices, wearing masks and placing signs on the floors in front of the outlets selling entry tickets and places of the attached visit
The first days of the return of work witnessed a limited turnout from citizens, during which family visits dominated the attendance rate, according to the controls of visits after it was decided that the percentage of visitors should not exceed 50% of the total capacity.
For his part, Major General Bahaa Tahoun, head of Al-Montazah Company for Tourism and Investment of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, said that Al-Montazah Gardens began today to receive the public after completing the sterilization and disinfection procedures that are carried out in coordination with the executive bodies in the governorate
He added in a press statement that the working hours start every day from eight in the morning until twelve in the middle of the night, indicating that the price of the entrance ticket has not witnessed any increase, and that its value was set at 25 pounds per person.

Montazah Gardens opens its doors to the public in Alexandria after a 6-month closure , the Royal Montazah Palace Gardens in Alexandria opened their doors to visitors, today, Tuesday, for the first time since the start of the “Corona Pandemic”, with a commitment to apply precautionary measures to confront the emerging virus.
The parks received a number of people on the first day of reopening them to citizens, after the price of the ticket was fixed at 25 pounds.
Major General Bahaa Tahoun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Montazah Tourism Investment Company in Alexandria, said that only 50% of the gardens’ capacity is allowed to enter the public, starting from eight in the morning until midnight every day.
He added that 5 precautionary measures have been taken to deal with the public, including the necessity to wear the muzzle, measure the temperature of visitors at the park doors, as well as place signs and social distancing signs.He confirmed that a comprehensive sterilization and disinfection process had been carried out for all parts of the gardens, which amount to 365 acres
